Dr. Roland Ramdass is an owner and practicing podiatrist at the Foot and Ankle Center, where he is part of a three-doctor group with multiple locations in Northern Virginia and West Virginia. He is ABFAS Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Rearfoot Reconstruction/Ankle Surgery. He is a graduate of City University of New York – York College, where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1995. He graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2002 with honors and completed his three-year podiatric surgical residency in 2005 at the New York Presbyterian Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. Passionate about education and promoting his specialty, Dr. Ramdass is actively involved with the INOVA Fairfax Residency Program, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners (NBPME), the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME), and the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association (VPMA)—in addition to his service on the ABFAS Board of Directors. He has also served as Chairman of the Winchester Medical Center Podiatry Department and President of NBPME, VPMA, and the ACFAS Mid-Atlantic Region. Dr. Ramdass has lectured at various seminars nationwide and has moderated several foot and ankle instructional courses and labs for foot and ankle surgeons, residents, and students. He has been involved in multiple research projects, which led to publications in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
